About FitFocus

FitFocus is a computer program for activity analysis for health and physical
education which is:
- Canadian- FitFocus is intended to be consistent with Health Canada's
Physical Activity Guide to Healthy Active Living.
- Easy to Use- You can select activities from about 500 sport, work or
leisure time activities and exercises. Reviewing analysis, sorting, making
changes take only a few mouse clicks or keystrokes.
- Educational- Designed to provide quick analysis of daily activities
including the benefits and risks of being active, FitFocus was developed to
support health and physical education curriculum objectives for junior and
senior high school students.
- Unique- FitFocus is unique in being Canadian software for health and physical
education. It is not targeted for performance athletes.
It is designed to help students analyze their day to day activities, develop activity
plans consistent with Canadian guidelines and understand the health
consequences of their decisions. FitFocus was released in 2003 and updated in 2006.
