Curriculum Relevance of FoodFocus:
FoodFocus is unique in having been designed to meet curriculum objectives in Canadian nutrition education.
It has evolved as technology, nutrition recommendations and educational objectives have changed.
While certain curriculum objectives have always been a challenge (such as more ethnic diversity in foods), we have found
ways to be responsive (such as additional data sources to supplement the Health Canada's Canadian Nutrient File information).
Our goal is to be responsive to changes to curricula across Canada.
